Eight sides do the mixing. The octagonal product container tumbles dry powder and granules for uniform mixing, lubrication and blending, and fixed baffles inside break up lumps as it turns. It is built to combine multiple batches into a single homogenised batch.
The container rests on both sides of a rigid A-type structure, driven by an enclosed rigid drive with reduction gearbox and motor. Material goes in through a charging hole with a hinged, sealed lid, also used for cleaning, and leaves through a discharge with butterfly valve and manhole. A safety railing guards the rotating area, and the electric control panel sets cycle time.
The design is cGMP compliant, with product contact parts in AISI 316 and non-contact parts in AISI 304, a matt finish and automatic operation on 3-phase power. Batch-size models run from 25 kg to 5,000 kg. Made in India. Send an enquiry for this automatic octagonal blender for pharmaceutical blending.
