Tablets come off a compression machine carrying a fine film of loose powder, and the ACE-1 deduster removes it before it travels any further down the line. Tablets enter a vibrated, perforated stainless steel sieve and move along a spiral path, turning and rotating as they go, so dust is shaken from both faces and from the edges.
Two configurations are available. In the spiral deduster, tablets enter at the centre and work outward to the rim. In the elevating deduster, they enter at a bottom inlet and climb an uphill spiral to exit at the top. Either way, the loosened dust is drawn off to a dust extraction system through a hose-pipe spigot, and clean tablets drop into the container.
Rated at 2,500 tablets per hour with 4 to 8 spirals, this semi-automatic spiral deduster for tablet press lines links directly to any type of high-speed press. Request a quote for your line.
